As our temperatures are drop, the possibility of inclement weather and late school openings and closings are inevitable. The following is Mt. Hebron’s Inclement Weather Policy:

Mt. Hebron Nursery School follows Howard County Schools.

If Howard County Schools are CLOSED, we will also be CLOSED for the day.

If Howard County Schools have a delayed opening, we will initiate the following schedule:

• The AM sessions will run from 10:30am - 12:15pm
• The PM sessions will run from 1:15pm – 3:00pm

If Howard County Schools close early, we will also close early.

Just a reminder! Please use caution when exiting your car and entering the building on snowy days. The steps and sidewalk outside the classrooms as well as the lower parking lot get dangerously icy. The County will only plow the upper parking lot, not the lower one. We discourage use of these unplowed areas. In the event of snow, we are planning to offer a drop-off, pick-up alternative to make the parking lot safer for our children.
